Devlog #7 - Beginning the second sprint
◎ Bomb Emotions & Animations
- We've brought more life into the bomb by giving it some emotions and animations
- The bomb pulses to indicate how close it is to exploding, in the last 25% (5 seconds) of the timer it intensifies its pulsing heavily
- It currently has 3 emotions, one is neutral and the default state with the eyes closed. One is angry and indicates it's about to explode. And the last one is blushing and triggers whenever the bomb gets moved around fast.
◎ Character Selection Screen Changes & Heavy Character
- We've made some changes to pretty up the character selection screen
- The characters have been rotated so that the color on their back is still clearly visible, but we can also see the model better
- The heavy character has gotten a model instead of just a bean, although the model is just a stretched version of the light one and a placeholder still. The new model is almost ready to be implemented.
◎ Rounded Arena Colliders
- The collision of the arena has been reworked so that the bomb can't get stuck anywhere and so we have a clear distinction between walls and ground.
◎ Scoring System Update
- Scores are now counting up until a team scored 7 point
- after the 7 points is reached the one team will be eliminated
- after elimination all remaining teams fight till there is one player still alive
◎ Camera Change
- the camera is now stuck in place and does not move any more
◎ Gate Scores
- the team gates now represent the team rankings
- it is displayed in damage to building
◎ Weapon Textures painted
- Added painted details to weapons to make them more appealing visually
